Instead of sending out a Christmas card this year, we thought we’d do something a little bit different. The result was the Yoke Christmas Ad-vent Calendar – a digital version of the much loved advent calendar but with our own industry twist.
Replacing the chocolates you’d normally find behind the doors of the real life version are 25 carefully selected ads and branded content from around the world. From Puma’s mesmerising piece showing hard cut football fans singing Savage Garden to a baby named Fanny in Scottish soft drink IRN BRU’s commercial – we picked what we liked – some funny, some moving, some absurd.
Seems like others liked it too! So far we’ve had nearly 4,000 visits from 679 cities in 69 different countries. This was thanks to it being picked up by design, marketing and advertising sites and blogs on the interweb, so thanks to all of them for spreading the word.
