Every Family Brand Identity

The Background

A non-profit initiative, Every Family helps parents, carers and families to support their child’s cognitive, social and emotional development through a series of evidence-based programs, workshops and coordinated support.

The Project

Vocational Partnerships Group (VPG), the organisation behind the initiative, asked Yoke to create a brand and identity that would reflect an approach and outlook based around empathy, inclusiveness and positivity.

The Results

Yoke’s response was a concept that interprets the well-known saying ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. We used the visual metaphor of a tree to represent each unique family, and a forest to show those families coming together to represent the communities that they collectively form. Together, these two creative ideas were developed into the brand mark itself and the accompanying visual identity.
