Palace Cinemas operates 20 cinema venues across the country offering a mix of mixture of foreign language, mainstream, independent and art house films. It also operates as distribution and film production company, presenting a wide variety of specially curated film festivals each year.
Having worked with Palace Cinemas on past film festivals, Yoke were asked to create the identity for the Emirates British Film Festival. Drawing inspiration from the festival’s retro themed programming, the concept for the design drew inspiration from early examples of British graphic design and was rolled out across all marketing and advertising material.
