Amber + Arkose Brand Identity

The Background

 

Australian wines are becoming more well known within China. With this in mind, we were approached to develop a brand for a new label to suit an exciting and emerging market. The brief was to create a brand that would appeal to the discerning wine purchaser, reflecting the high quality of the product, while still being affordable.

 

The Project

 

Yoke began with a thorough naming process, arriving at Amber + Akrose, which combines two words associated with Uluru – its colour and type of stone. We then completed the design of a brand mark and associated look and feel, before solidifying that in a complete set of brand guidelines that could be applied across digital and print touchpoints.

 

The Results

 

Perhaps the most important part of our design for this new brand was the suite of labels for its seven varieties. This design is simple, refined and speaks to the premium quality of this new Australian wine. As well as label design, the roll-out of the new Amber + Arkose brand consisted of print collateral including business cards, booklets and gift boxes, and various digital elements to help grow the brand’s presence online.
