Nelson Alexander has been helping people sell, buy, rent and lease properties in Melbourne’s northern suburbs for over 45 years. With 14 offices and over 110 agents, it is one of only a few sizeable real estate agents in Melbourne that isn’t a franchise. Instead, they operate as one single agency, sharing knowledge, leads and information with each other across all offices and suburbs.
A real estate agency’s website is a critical tool of the business. In addition to telling the story of the brand, detailing services and profiling the agents, it features all current listings, meaning it has the ability to generate millions of dollars in revenue through online enquires to buy, sell, lease or rent. Yoke were tasked with the strategy, planning, UX and UI design of the new Nelson Alexander website.
The new website was launched in April 2016. Says Marketing Manager Jamie Owen, ‘The new Nelson Alexander website wasn’t just designed as a marketing tool or a property listings portal. It was created to improve customer experience for all our audiences – current and prospective clients, our own team, the communities we work in and the wider real estate industry. It was a big project, but one that has been really well received across the board.’
